Valentines day, West Virginia, iPad, and more.

We'll yesterday was Valentines day, and I had made this tutorial for you all a couple weeks before, but hadn't had a chance to post- better late than never!

Heart hairdo- thank you Lil'  Sis for your help:)

Start by parting your hair (with a comb for straight lines) in a square as shown above.

With a hair elastic, tie a little pony tail and then do a upwards flip-through

Split the ponytail in half and braid (or fishtail if you have the patience) each side

It should look something like this

This next step is optional but I love the soft look it gives. This technique is called pancaking. You basically pull on each "stitch" and it will kinda flatten/spread out. 

Play around with it until you get something like this:

Now the fun part: 

Go ahead and elastic the bottom depending on we're you want the point of your heart to be. Secure with a few bobby pins and your done! I just curled the ends of her hair for this part

My Familia and neighbors also traveled to West Virginia to stay with friends. Ther homes are in the mountains and they are absolutely GORGEOUS! Here are just some of the pics of just one house:
