Apple Dump Cake

When I think of fall, I think of apples. I have been craving some apple pie, but I didnt want to be peeling and cutting apples all day. So I found this recipe on Pinterest. It is pretty self explaining, but I figured some pictures would make it more interesting.... this is super easy and hard to mess up,

Here you go:

5-7 Apples, thinly sliced (I used 5 medium sized and that was plenty)
1 b yellow or white cake mix
1 stick real butter
2Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon( I sprinkled a little more over the apples themselves)
2-3 Tbsp apple cider, apple juice, or sugar water

Preheat oven 350. Place cut apples in 13x9 pan. Sprinkle your cider over them. Sprinkle cinnamon, then cake, then cinnamon sugar mixture in layers over top the apples. Melt butter and pour over top. Bake 30 min or until golden brown. Serve warm plain or with ice cream

Ok, so I was tired.

Hey guys! These past few days have been busy, and I have been very tired. ButI have making lots of memories!Let me start from the beginning:

So, Friday I had a field trip to the Creation Museum.... it was 2 1/2 hour ride to Kentucky. And, I got to go with two of my very best friends, the Cooks and Reinhards. It was a quiet ride down(it was like 6:30 in the morning, and none of us are morning people)We watched Nacho Lebrea' ,a weird, but good movie. The museum was really good. This was my 3rd time going, and every year I learn something new. The way home was much more lively. For example, Andrew showed us his baton-twirling skills IN THE VAN!!!!!! NOT A GOOD IDEA!  We watched Duck Dynasty episodes on DVD,  and had Wendy's for supper. It was a blast and something I will remember forever.

Then, on Saturday I packed up for a very big afternoon. I was going to a JH soccer game ( they are undefeated and won 11-0) After that I went home with my friends Chantel, Hannah, and Eliana for a SLEEPOVER!!!! It was so much fun!  These girls are some of my very best friends (too!) and we had a blast. We first went to Wally World and got a ton of junk food and misc. craft supplies. We then went home and FaceTimed our guy best friends( who were having a sleepover too) and showed them our huge kitchen table full of chips, cake mix, candy and, my favorites: Oreos. (FYI we had a friendly competition of who could have more fun, girls won) We ate some pizza and got to work on some canvas paintings. After that we made a tie-dye cake that in the end, turned out well ( we didn't have enough icing, so we cover the sides with Oreo cookies and Reese Cups) Trust me, it had sugar coma written all over it. Then, we went up to the bedroom and prank called every Walmart,Taco Bell, and White Castle in Ohio. We FaceTimed the guys again and listened/ watched there prank calls and vise versa. Our prank calls consisted of "I love you" and " your sliders slide right through me, how do I get it to stop!" And a lot of giggling. They guys were more. " You know I have caller ID, right? I can call the police." (*67people, *67!) After staying up past midnight, we were pretty giggly and wired. We soon got to bed. The next morning we got up*yawn* and went to church. Lemme just tell you, I love that church. Every one is so warm and welcoming and God never seizes to touch my heart. After THAT my grandparents picked me up and took us to Quarter Horse Congress. It was really neat but I unfortunately was too tired to really enjoy it. To conclude this cram-packed day was family dinner at our cousin's gorgeous farmhouse. It was really good to see them again!

On Monday I was sure dreading the morning, as I was busy all weekend and unprepared for the school days ahead. It turned out great! Thank you Jesus! After school I had volleyball practice. When I got home, The warm house felt great! Outside had just enough chill to make it feel like fall, with the almost turning leaves and partly sunny skies. The smell of chili was welcoming. I ate 2 bowls with some apples cider. My dad and brother went to help my neighbor track his deer before it got dark. I quickly got to bed and I drifted of to sleep with the smell of freshly baked cookies and nostalgia of all the memories. Fall is my favorite season because it brings so many memories back to me.

And here I am now, Tuesday.  I am on my way to Mt. Hope, Ohio. Sipping on Arnold Palmer and chatting with my Grandpa. We our on our way to a pony sale in Amish country. We are hoping to get me a bigger pony that can pull a cart.

Well I've gotta go, because I am using up phone data and this backpack of homework in the back seat isn't going to do itself! Have a beautiful fall day!
